Macleod’s Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The perfect introduction to the world of single malt whiskies, the Macleod’s Regional Malts collection comprises a selection of single malt Scotch whiskies, which we believe to be the most representative of their particular region.

Bottled from stocks of extremely prestigious single malt whiskies, the range takes consumers on a sensory journey through the whisky regions of Scotland and includes a Highland, Island, Lowland, Speyside and Islay.

Highland

From timeless Clan traditions to majestic landscapes, there is nothing 'small' about the Scottish Highlands, or the whiskies crafted here for the generations. Named after Clan member Ian Macleod, our Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky quietly reflects this monumental place. Elegant and complex yet well-balanced and smooth, the wonderful dryness of the finish is the perfect farewell.

Lowland

As well as Clans, Lairds and Kings, Scotland's gently rolling lowlands were also once home to Burns, Stevenson and Scott. The area's lush countryside fostered not just strong traditions and literary greatness, but the fresh, floral character of its whiskies. Named in honour of clan member Ian Macleod, Macleod's Lowland Single Malt Whisky has an unmistakably vanilla nose, opening out to a soft yet complex palate - and smooth toffee finish.

Speyside

Speyside is home to ancient clans, breathtaking landscapes - and more than half of Scotland's distilleries. Named in honour of clan member Ian Macleod, Macleod's Speyside Single Malt proclaims its birthplace with a wonderfully fruity nose, combined with elegant floral notes. The complexity of its character is revealed on your first sip, ending with a mouthwateringly dry finish.

Island

Endless beaches and clear waters. Imposing mountains and deserted moors. Traditions passed down by ancient Clans. Scotland's west coast islands defy general descriptions - so too does Macelod's Island single Malt - so-named in honour of Clansman Ian Macelod. The nose is dry with a strong sea salt influence; your first taste reveals balanced sweetness behind the iodine and peat - and a seemingly endless finish.
