100% Blue Agave grown and harvested in the Highlands. The Tequila is an extra aged Anejo, aged in Bourbon barrels for 2+ years and then finished in Oloroso Sherry Butts.

Dia de Muertos

Dia de Muertos is a Mexican Holiday celebrated by people observing and honoring their family members and friends who have passed into the spiritual world. The Spanish tradition includes festivals and parades, as well as gatherings of families at cemeteries to pray and celebrate their loved ones.

Traditions have included building private altars called Ofrendas, honoring the deceased using Calaveras, Aztec marigolds and by bringing favorite foods, beverages and personal possessions of the departed, and visiting the graves with these gifts.

Tasting Notes

The spicy notes of the bourbon are well balanced with the sweet sherry flavors, integrating with the wood beautifully. The agave is always present. An exceptional array of flavors roll out a perfect bell curve from start to finish.

The Bottle

The bottle was hand sculpted in paper mache by Bonnie Lopez and then replicated in clay to ultimately produce the bottle you see. Each bottle has a small label attached to the bottom and to the inside of each carton matching the Certificate of Authenticity provided with each bottle. The Certificate of Authenticity provides the Batch#, Bottle# and the day it was bottled.
